A practice-based research project conducted as part of a Masters of Design at the School of Fashion and Textiles, RMIT Melbourne. The research was carried out in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The research explored creative recontextualizations of textile waste. Employing digital craft-based interventions adapted to the automation of local factories, the work drew on digital, machine mediated and artisanal making to consider alternative uses for pre- and post-consumer waste in Ho Chi Minh City.
